SYS has always focused on the environment and energy. It has also modified and developed the production of hot-rolled steel to make SYS structural steel a sustainable green steel, as well as being more environmentally friendly as can be seen from SYS’s various production stages.
Starting from using recycled steel materials to produce new pieces of steel, using EAF furnaces that reduce energy consumption by more than 75%, and this material and furnace model also emits less CO2. During production, SYS continues to use clean energy from sustainable energy sources. For example, using electricity from Solar Floating that has received cooperation from various agencies. In addition, in some SYS projects, electricity is consumed through trading of Biomass Renewable Energy Certificate (The International REC; I-REC) and also prevents particulate matter from being emitted into the atmosphere throughout the manufacturing process.
With constant attention and improvement on the environment, SYS has consistently earned national and international environmental certificates. Because of this, using SYS structural steel boosts the sustainability of the environment, gives users confidence in the materials used, and may be further integrated into the building process to increase the project’s potential for green building certification. Therefore, SYS’s development of environmentally friendly manufacturing technology serves as both an adjustment to meet the market’s demand for such materials and the preparation of such materials to assist all concurrent efforts aimed at saving the planet.
