For some projects, the construction of the superstructure above ground could not start until
completion of the excavation and underground structures. However, with the top-down construction, the building and the structures above ground can be carried out simultaneously
with the structures below ground. This greatly reduces the construction time. Same as mega
project like subway construction, the underground work can continue underground while traffic continues to flow above.
In addition, the installed stanchions with poured concrete will function as composite columns
which are smaller than steel-reinforced concrete, allowing for more underground utilizing
