SYS introduces Value Series, a new alternative TIS 1227-1996–certified steel that allows you to achieve up to 20% in cost savings. Over the years, engineers, architects, contractors, and other concerned parties have been familiar with identifying structural steel by nominal depth in “inches”, prompting them to overlook the Value Series products. Thailand Industrial Standard (TIS) prescribes the dimensions of hot-rolled structural steel in “millimeters” which is much finer. As a result, there is a wide range of sizes for engineers and architects to choose from to better meet their application needs.

H 100 x 50 – Small Size…. BIG ideas |
| H 100X50 is the smallest hot-rolled structural steel according to the TIS specifications. It can be used to accommodate unlimited ideas for various design work, both interior and exterior. The thickness of the hot-rolled structural steel as well as the H-shape open cross section allows for the thorough rust proofing painting. In addition to being used for columns, beams, roof systems, or facades, H 100X50 structural steel can be cut into 50X50 cut-beams for use as truss structures.

SM 400 – Steel for Welded Structures |
Structural steel systems have either welded or bolted connections. The TIS classifies structural steel into two grades of quality suitable for each type of connection. Developed from steel for general structure or Grade SS400, steel for welded structure or Grade SM400 is specially formulated to better suit welded connections, reducing cracking risk in structural steel welds. With enhanced ductility, SM400 provides earthquake resistant features and high impact resistance at low temperatures. It thus can be used in most projects. Always think of Grade SM400 when it comes to a welded structure.
